B.Tech (Marine Engineering) - 4 Years
The four year B.Tech (Marine Engineering) course , is a course leading to Class IV Marine Engineer Officer Certificate of competency, awarded by the ministry of shipping Government of India, after six months of sea service, enabling the cadets to become Marine Engineers on board Merchant Naval ships anywhere in the world. This course is strictly residential.

- The candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for admission can apply for the courses on the prescribed form of the academy.
The candidates should submit completed application form along with the following documents:- Educational Qualification Certificate (2 copies attested by a Gazetted Officer)
- Final Examination Mark Sheet. (2 copies attested)
- School (or) College leaving Certificate( 2 copies attested)
- Recent Passport/ Stamp size colour photographs 16 Nos.
- Birth certificate (2 copies attested)
- All Originals documents to be submitted at the time of Admission.(Additional 8 photographs would be required if selected.)
- The completed application form should reach the Institute on or before the specified date in the advertisement, through Registered
- Number of Seats sanctioned : 40
- Statement mentioning. Institute is required to ensure that on board training is provided to the candidates after the successful completion of the course, which may be mandatory for obtaining a Certificate of Competency issued by the Directorate General of Shipping, Mumbai.
